There is no free tier and no trial. The scoring engine, and the security checks in particular, are the product rather than the marketing for it. Usage beyond a plan's allowance is billed on top.
Every plan except Proprietary carries a badge on the site being scanned: one link back to this scanner, anywhere on the page. That is part of what holds the price down. You get 14 days from signup to put it up, nothing is switched off in the meantime, and a single failed check never counts against you. Proprietary is priced so it needs no badge at all, and it is the only plan where the deployment is unbranded.
Seats are capped on purpose: ten on Starter, three on Pro, ten on Proprietary. Every seat is a standing claim on a fixed monthly allowance of licensed lookups and of scan compute, so the honest number of customers is the number that can be served at full usage without the scans getting worse. When a plan is full the signup is refused rather than quietly taken.
